JBG Goechala Trail Ultra
The JBG Goechala Trail Ultra is the second race of JBG Endura Races, set in the Sikkim Himalayas. Starting from Yuksom, Sikkim’s first capital, the course follows the iconic Dzongri–Goechala trail, nestled within Kanchenjunga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This high-altitude route passes through alpine forests, glacial streams, and boulder-strewn terrain, delivering a demanding test of strength, stamina, and spirit. The event features three race categories. The 10K Beginner Trail includes a 650 m elevation gain, while the 30K Intermediate Trail challenges runners with a 2000 m ascent through rugged alpine terrain.
