The Ladakh Umlingla Challenge is a high-altitude race series featuring ultra (80K), marathon (42K), and half-marathon (21K) distances on the world’s highest motorable pass (5,800m). Organized with Indian Army support, the event requires medical certification for participation due to extreme elevation. Courses follow paved roads with full military route clearance.
